Today’s article describes how to prepare my egg and bacon sandwich. This is definitely one of my favorite sandwiches. I usually prepare it for picnics or to serve it as appetizers at parties at home (with some success by the way).
How to make egg and bacon sandwich
I have several recipes for sandwiches, including this one, that I usually prepare for these occasions, to avoid the classic ham and cheese. Also, I really like this sandwich because the idea was given to me by a good friend long ago.
Egg and Bacon Sandwich Recipe

- 2 eggs
- 150 g lardons
- 4 tablespoons of fmayonnaise
- Fresh chives, to taste
- 8 slices of bread
- Salt
Elaboración
- Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.
- Bring the water with the eggs to a boil over medium heat. When the water begins to boil count 8 minutes.
- Once the eggs are boiled, take them out of the hot water and soak them in cold water.
- Heat a pan without oil over medium heat.
- When the pan is hot, add the bacon and stir fry until golden brown. Set aside on paper towels.
- Once the eggs are cold, peel them and chop them. Add a pinch of salt.
- Wash the chives, dry well and chop finely.
- In a bowl, mix the egg chunks, bacon and chives with 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- Spread the mixture over 4 slices of bread and cover with another slice.
- It is done. Enjoy!

- This egg, bacon and chive sandwich can be prepared for a picnic, but it is better to keep it cold in a cooler because it contains mayonnaise.
